Relaxing lakeside retreat awaits you
Every moment was magical, especially when waking up to the sound of birds and overlooking the tranquil lake.
While the lodge was immaculate, the early 9am checkout felt a bit rushed, especially since the check-in time is later in the day.

I loved how cozy the pod felt, especially the comfortable mattress, made for a great night's sleep. Check out the nearby park and ride to avoid parking hassles in York.

Loved the hot tub, it was checked daily which was nice. Also enjoyed fishin on site, tons of ducks around too which was cute. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
The outside of the lodge seemed a bit tired and the checkout was a bit rushed at 9 am. Also noticed a few flies around, probably from the lake.

Fishing on-site was a highlight, catching plenty of fish. The lodge looked a bit tired on the outside. Hot tub maintained daily, very relaxing. Checkout at 9 am felt too early for a holiday.

I just spent a fantastic three nights in a Two-Bedroom House. The lodge was very clean and well-maintained. The outside could use a fresh coat of paint but didn't take away from the stay. Ample lounge space made it comfortable. The hot tub? Absolutely great! It was checked meticulously by the staff, who were attentive and friendly. I enjoyed fishing right on site. It was a hit! The surrounding wildlife, especially the ducks, added a lovely touch to the atmosphere. I did notice quite a few flies, probably due to the nearby water, so bringing some fly spray would be smart. The checkout at 9 am felt a bit rushed, especially since check-in is later. A much-needed escape into nature with close proximity to York for day trips!

Clean, spacious lodges offer a perfect lakeside escape, complete with kitchens equipped for cooking. The on-site fishing lakes are plentiful with wildlife, while the private hot tubs provide an inviting retreat after a long day outdoors.
Even though the lodges are cozy, I found the outside could use a fresh coat of paint, giving off a slightly tired vibe. The 9 am checkout felt a bit rushed, especially after a relaxing stay, and a few flies were buzzing around, likely due to the nearby lake. It's also crucial to have a vehicle, as dining options are a lengthy drive away, which could be a hassle for some.

It was a peaceful and tranquil setting, perfect for a relaxing holiday. the location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and shops.
That the crockery and cutlery were not very clean when we arrived. we brought this to the attention of the staff and they assured us that they would address the issue.

We stayed at Paradise Lakeside Lodges for a weekend getaway and were pleasantly surprised. The peaceful and tranquil setting in the countryside was exactly what we needed. Our cozy pod was clean and well-maintained, and even though it was small, it had everything we needed. The view overlooking the small lake was beautiful, and there was plenty of wildlife to observe. The location was ideal, with lovely villages within reach and York just a short 12-mile drive away. The highlight was definitely the hot tub with its powerful jets, providing a relaxing full-body massage experience.
Would recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at a lakeside lodge for New Year's and had a great time. the lodges were located in a peaceful area surrounded by well-maintained grounds. the fishing opportunities were amazing, and we caught some impressive fish during our stay. Another highlight was the kids' activities, like the hidden surprises in the trees, which kept the little ones entertained. it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
The interior of the lodge was a bit dated and could use some upgrades. We noticed some cleanliness issues, such as peeling paint in the microwave and dirty glasses and cutlery.
